Having fun flexing with the guys after our epic back session today.
This is too amazing not to reblog and it also makes me feel sick and ashamed to be a human
Lazy girls be like ‘but I don’t want to look like a man’! Ladies you don’t possess enough testosterone to build muscles to the level that a man does so don’t worry. Also, muscle shapes, tones, and keeps your body looking lean. So keep in mind that it’s not muscle making you look bulky, it’s the fat you keep holding on to. Much props to IG @fit_fury for understanding that proper nutrition and weight training will get you the body you want, and not being a cardio queen.
Passing out trophies to the men’s physique competitors at the NPC Mid Illinois Championships in Ottawa, Illinois. What a wonderful experience and honor to represent the men’s physique division.
Just helped these guys make some great strides in the last ten weeks with some workout and nutrition guidance. The first guy gained 10 pounds and is stronger and leaner. The middle guy has always had trouble gaining weight and added 12 pounds. The bottom guy remained the same as far as weight but lost fat and added muscle.
Competition prep is going well. I have been able to get lean and maintain much more mass than usual. Very happy about my progress. 8 weeks out.
Leaning out and maintaining size during my carb cycle. Look a little flat in these pics due to it being a low carb day.
Had a great arm session and also starting to see some separation. Almost stage ready! Here is what I did exactly:
Weight was increased on EVERY set and I did 4 sets per exercise with the following rep count per set: 12/10/10/8
Dumbbell lateral raises
Tricep extension with rope
Barbell bicep curl (half reps close grip and half wide group per set)
Tricep extension with straight bar (alternating over and underhand each set)
Cable lateral raises
